If our newsfeeds are in sync, we each awakened to the news of Tony Bennett's passing in the early morning hours of July 21st at his home in Manhattan. In my mind, I traveled back to my childhood, with echoes of my father's voice singing "I Left My Heart In San Francisco."
How fortunate are we that we shared the planet at the same time as Tony Bennett. The good life, for sure, with all its ups and downs.
