Save the Date(s) May 18th and June 8th

Good morning, all!

It is morning as I write this. Sending lots of love your way today, as it seems we need it now, more than ever. Today reminds me of a song, as it is both a rainy day and a Monday, and it is a good day for packing and stacking boxes, as we are still a few days away from moving for the second time in a year. Many old adages to be quoted at this point, but I will skip that and just give you a couple of dates to remember:

May 18th: honored to be singing the National Anthem once again for the Marin Games Special Olympics with my dear friend and living musical legend Linda Imperial. We have done this together a few times now, and it is always a highlight of my year. This year will be extra special as we will be joined by one of the athletes, Amy Chun, pictured below, holding the torch. If you are in the Marin area, I highly recommend you attend, get there early and carpool. You will be inspired and filled with optimism. Plus, it is fun to watch the Stanford Tree dance with the marching band. Wear layers and bring a hat. Starts at 9:00 am

June 8th: Mari Mack & Livin' Like Kings  at The Saloon, with Tal Morris guesting on guitar, as Pat Duffey will be up in Guerneville with the Bad Ass Boots. Downbeat is 9:30 pm.

May your day be filled with joy and the knowledge that we do have the power to make this world a better place, one smile and one good deed at a time. Like drops in a bucket, it all adds up.

Ox,
Mari
