Hey Everybody!
Hope you had an enjoyable Mother's Day. This illustration by Mari Andrew does a good job of expressing how I felt yesterday.
It was a bittersweet day, as we spent the day at the zoo with our grandson Roman and his parents, while I missed my mom, who is three thousand miles away in a nursing home. I was able to speak with her a couple of days ago, and it was a mixture of lucidity and gibberish.
Alzheimer's is a heartbreaking disease.
