How is everyone doing? These are challenging times, so let's take each day as it comes, with both its blessings and disappointments.

Our Bay Area music community is feeling the loss of two incredibly talented and beautiful souls, Tammi Brown, singer, instrumentalist and arranger, and Steve Evans, bass player extraordinaire.
They each made significant contributions to our lives. I met both through Arne, as he brought Tammi in to arrange the gospel section of Gomorrah, back in 2000, when I was singing with Gregg's Eggs. She and her choir truly elevated that tune.
I first heard the name "Steve Evans" when Arne told me he was one of his favorite bass players in the Bay Area. Whenever our paths would cross, Steve would say, "Call me when you want a real bass player," right in front of Arne, and we would all laugh. What a character.
Both Tammi and Steve will be missed by all who had the pleasure to know them.
