All In for Democracy

Hello All,

How have you been? Did you catch that rendition of "The Star Spangled Banner" the other day/night?
I don't know about you, but that way out of pitch, reportedly drunken rendition of our national anthem by Ms
Andress hit me like a personal call to serve.
I heard about it from my friends, so Arne and I searched You Tube. We listened about three times to make sure what we heard was what we heard. My response was a mixture of shock, wonder and horror. I haven't heard my husband laugh that loud in a while. And he laughs a LOT. Anyway, it seemed to fit the times we are experiencing, just like that sideways photo in a previous post.

Speaking of horror mixed with laughter, have you been watching the RNC? I have been checking in from time to time, and it has made me so sad for our country. That is why I'm all in for voting blue, ridin' with Biden. I wish the pundits and self proclaimed "democratic strategists" would stop calling for him to step aside. He is doing what needs to be done, but you wouldn't know it by the.mainstream media.
By all means, please don't take my word for it, do the research and decide for yourself.
Don't expect to get anything but opinions and speculation if you watch mainstream outlets. All they seem to do is grab onto the negative aspects of something and try to turn it into news, because they know human nature tends to focus on the negative, and they want us to stare at  their useless programming.
Do I really care if someone who used to stutter flubs a word once in a while, if they know how to run the government? No.

Why would anyone vote for a person who had to choose a new VP because his previous VP would not endorse him?
Let's get real here, people!

Anyway, if you still want information, here is one news source that I have found to be based in fact, with references to history. History professor Heather Cox Richardson's Substack:

If you would rather listen, she narrates it in a podcast as well.

I've recently discovered Meidas Touch on YouTube.  He seems to be reasonable and sane. Let me know what you think.

And, if you are curious about Project 2025, look up Andra Watkins, also on Substack. That seems to be the place where most writers are these days.

There are a few more sources om Substack, such as "The Cause."
Please feel free to recommend some of your information sources to me.

I never have been one for blind loyalty, and you won't catch me wearing a post it note on my ear. Goodness gracious, what a bunch of sheep, blindly following a conman because they are too lazy to look past the lies.

Heaven help us all.

Yes, I believe in a higher power. I also believe in separation of church and state.

Ox,
Mari
