Honestly, feel a bit silly and insignificant broadcasting this month's shows, but I am a singer, and singers must sing every once in a while or we get depressed. We also need to rest, or we risk damaging our vocal chords. It's all about balance! When we are out of balance, bad things happen. At this moment in time, for many of us, I'm guessing it must feel as if the whole world is off balance.
I join those of you who are shocked and saddened by the latest series of tragedies that have disrupted our collective daily life. This is not normal. We do not have to accept this as normal. Just because people have been killing each other for years, does not mean we are powerless to make things better.
Please be sure to research and vote your heart and your conscience.
I hope that you can find the strength and resolve to care about what is happening all around us while still taking care of yourself, and I hope you will continue the effort to bring beauty and love into this world.
