If he saw something in you, he orchestrated a career. He searched for hits for great singers and believed in people, sometimes more than they did. And yes, he didn't always please everyone.
He never retired from the work he loved, and as some would say, "he lived a big life," and changed a lot of lives in the process. He certainly had a lot to do with the soundtrack of our lives.
Seems it doesn't matter how much or how little money you have, grief is grief. It must be felt in order to bring some semblance of closure. Afterward, we do our best to live our lives as fully as possible.
It is a wonderful way to honor the people we love.
"New beginnings are often disguised as painful endings." Rumi ?(or was it Lao Tzu? I don't know who said it but it makes sense to me.
Sending love.
