Hope this note finds you well. We had a great gig this past weekend at The Saloon. A very appreciative crowd, and it felt as if my voice finally recovered from that horrid crud that took me down earlier in the year.
Thank goodness for old Italian remedies!
Anyway, I so appreciate the love that comes back from the crowd. We will be back in San Francisco on June 13th. Hope you can make it out to give a listen.
In the meantime, here's a couple of tunes from my trip to Memphis back in January. And I'd like to send out a heartfelt congratulations to everyone who was nominated and or won for a Blues Music Award! (The ceremony was last Thursday, also in Memphis...)
Arne and I then visited with the kids and grandkids. We pretty much ended up falling asleep on the couch between watching the kids and "Uncle Josh" be cute and funny. Feels like true luxury, especially these days.
