Dear Friends and Fellow Musicians:
Tonight, we remember Willie Riser, who passed in his sleep, likely during the early morning hours, this past Memorial Day, Monday, May 28. When he did not show up for his weekly gig at the local jam, his friends started getting worried and eventually heard the sad news that he was not going to make it to that gig, nor any more gigs.
Willie was beloved in the Bay Area. His musical knowledge and skills were unmatched.
