Happy Monday! It's the last Monday of 2024, let's live it like you mean it!
My birthday is this Friday. I never thought I would get to this age, and I feel like I'm just getting started. On what, I'm not sure. I kid, I kid. Starting is easy. Finishing is more challenging. I'm finishing a huge task today, and will be very relieved when it is done.
On that subject, Jimmy Carter decided to finish on his own terms. His funeral will take place on January 9th in Washington, D.C. He was a good and kind man who had his priorities in the right place.
I recall when he had solar panels placed on the White House. I'm glad I was able to donate my car to Habitat for Humanity in his honor earlier this year.
