Hey Everybody!
I hope this note finds you well and enjoying each moment! All we have is now, and "now" becomes "then" real soon.
Anyway, speaking of "each moment" - we entered this year's Tiny Desk Contest! Exciting because of the possibilities - and scary for the same reason. I think we have as good a chance as anyone, and, let's put it this way, a better chance than me getting elected for public office in the near future!
We are about to turn in the paperwork for the next single, as we are aiming for an April release. This is Arne's tune that I helped to finish along with some more friends - we will share full details soon!
I will be sure to set up the Bandcamp by Friday - something got weird there, and I am figuring out that mystery.
Next show is in San Francisco at the world famous Saloon on March 9th from 4 - 8 - Richard is out of town, so we have a change in the lineup with Jim Talley guesting on keys, and as always, it will be an adventure!
While we are on that subject, Myron is celebrating his 40th Anniversary of taking the reins at The Saloon, so we will stop by to celebrate with him. It will be a party, because Mike Dingle and his Third Thursday Band are playing the 4-8 early shift, the party starts in the middle of that, and after all that, Wendy DeWitt, Boogie Woogie Queen takes over at 9:30 on until 1:30 am!
In the meantime, I'm deep into my "landfill diversion art project" and am seeking some part time local work (full time for the right situation as well) or remote marketing and social media gigs to finance basic living needs!
Of course, I'm open for additional paid music gigs. Just call me or find me on Facebook.
Enjoy your week!
Ox,
Mari
