Musings : 2/11/2016

Hey All -

Hope you don't mind some midweek musings, since I really didn't have much to say on Monday, except for the fact that I am in "campaign mode." Not really sure what that means, actually. I've never been good at selling "me." All I do know is that I am excited to be running for Supervisor and very encouraged by the neighbors who have decided to support this effort.

Speaking of support, the campaign donation link is up.

We are already at 25%, toward the $1133.60 filing fee, not counting the signatures (which are worth a whopping 25¢!  Anything over the filing fee will be spent on getting the word out and traveling expenses all over District 4, which covers a very large area.  If you have any questions, please send them my way - just call and leave a message : 415-789-MARI (6274)

In the meantime, I'm still searching for paid gigs, because even if I do manage to get past this nomination stage and win the election, the term doesn't start until January 2017.
(Which, btw, will give me some time to brush up on public hearing procedures, Robert's Rules of Order, etc.)  Looking forward to getting to work.
