Random Musings :
Today I start a three week intensive boot camp type exercise regime to improve my balance and energy levels! Last week, I went to the gym to get an evaluation and on the way home, I lost my footing, slipped and skinned my knee on concrete.
I took a couple of pics of my skinned knee and posted them to facebook, then felt really weird about it, so I hid them. As if anyone really needs/wants to see that!
Seriously, though - I appreciated the well wishes, but it made me feel as if I was looking for sympathy, so I hid them from view... No offense, but anyone looking forward to seeing a photo of my (or anyone else's) munched up knee? Time to get a life (or go to medical school...)
On second thought, I guess it could be used as a reference for zombie makeup - which reminds me - time to consider Thrill the World again! I haven't done that in a while, and it's good to see that more folks in the non profit world are learning about this fun way to raise funding for a good cause.
Shoot me an email if you want to learn to dance Thriller.
If the guys at the exercise studio sign on, it's a go in Mill Valley - otherwise, we may have to trek over the bridge to join the SF Evening Rotary in Golden Gate Park. To learn more, check out the blog I made for TTW Mill Valley a couple of years ago...
